8-Week
Adult Golf Clinic Schedule
Week 1 - Basic Fundamentals
June
8th and June 10th
This
is designed for those golfers who are seeking greater consistency and more precision in their ball striking. Every golfer,
regardless of playing ability, must have a strong foundation from which to swing. This clinic will touch upon the essential
components that must be instilled to promote a solid golf swing.
Week
2 - Full Swing
June 15th and
June 17th
This
class will help you develop a personal plan to improve your full swing. It will help you create 1 swing for 14 clubs rather
than 14 swings for 14 clubs! Learning the fundamentals to a solid swing will include work on your grip, posture, ball position,
finish and drills to take it from the driving range to the golf course.
Week
3 - Putting
June 22nd and June
24th
This is a
clinic for those seeking additional help regarding the #1 scoring shot, putting. The putting clinic will assist players with
improving their lag putting, short putting, and ability to read greens. Throughout a typical round, a putter account for 30-50%
of the total strokes. Improving your putting is the fastest way to lower your scores.
Week 4 – Improve your Drive
June
29th and July 1st
This class is designed to improve one the most feared shots in golf: the tee shot. Often referred to as the Dr. Jekyll
or Mr. Hyde golf club in student’s bags, I’ll help to take the mystery out of hitting the driver. If you’re
looking to increase your distance, accuracy, and confidence off the tee, then this is the class for you! The Improve Your
Drive clinic will reinvigorate your game by putting you in the fairway and in position to score.
Week 5 – Hybrids and Fairway Woods
July 6th and July 8th
While it is often said the longer the golf club the more difficult it is to hit.
This clinic focuses on sweeping fairway woods off the ground while providing greater accuracy with all woods, including new
hybrid clubs. Don’t let lengthy golf shots scare you, because it means pulling a headcover off one of your woods. Gain
confidence with clubs that are meant to travel a greater distance, helping you take pressure off your short game.
Week 6 - Iron Play
July
13th and July 15th
This clinic specializes in helping you gain more consistency, hit more greens, and lower your score through better
iron play. Learn to hit crisper iron shots that land softly on the green while traveling the proper distance.
Week 7 - Wedge Play
July
20th and July 22nd
Ever notice that Touring Professionals seem to hit their wedge shots effortlessly and close to the hole, while amateurs
struggle, hitting wedge shots fat, thin, with poor direction and distance control. While understanding how far you hit each
club is important, it is crucial to know the distance your typical wedge shots travel. This clinic will help you calculate
these measurements while also emphasizing the importance of swing length as well as setting up with proper ball position.
Week 8 - Pitching, Chipping & Bunkers
July 27th and July 29th
Are you afraid of the sand? Have you ever hit a bunker shot,
only to see the ball STILL in the sand after your swing? Do you ever chunk a wedge shot? Learn the secrets of developing a
more solid short game. You will learn how to get the ball out of the sand every time, master distance control on your pitch
shots, and discover great drills that will help you become fearless around the greens.
